Use practical inverter and electrical controls knowledge at WF Steel & Crane, a Canadian fabricator in Nisku Industrial Park. This is an indoor, in-town position.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work directly with maintenance in a structural steel and overhead crane fabrication facility. Your work draws on electrical knowledge, schematic interpretation, and cable termination experience. The schedule is regularly Monday to Friday, with regularly scheduled overtime, and the role includes working at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the maintenance department
- Apply electrical controls knowledge within fabrication operations
- Interpret schematic diagrams and blueprints
- Complete cable glanding and terminating tasks
- Continue training on current equipment and legislation
Requirements:
- Registered Electrical Apprentice qualification
- Practical inverter knowledge
- Competent general electrical knowledge
- Diligent approach to assigned work
- Ability to work within teams or autonomously
