As a part-time Cosmetician, you will provide skincare and beauty consultations, recommend products and treatments, and demonstrate product use. You will also help maintain the retail space and support sales and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Consult with customers and recommend suitable skincare products and treatments.
- Demonstrate application techniques and explain product use and benefits.
- Keep the retail space, treatment areas, and product displays clean and organized.
- Keep informed about beauty products, trends, and industry developments.
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and monitoring product expiration dates.
- Build customer relationships and support sales targets and promotions.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in cosmetology, esthetics, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a cosmetician or skincare consultant, preferably in retail.
- Knowledge of skincare products, treatments, and beauty industry standards.
- Availability for flexible part-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Specialized treatment or makeup certifications, POS and inventory system experience, bilingual abilities, and familiarity with Canadian health and safety regulations are preferred.
