Build prefab trusses at Star Truss in Winnipeg while using tape measures and following detailed production specifications on site.

This full time Production Worker position supports Star Truss, a division of Star Building Materials. You will work closely with the Lead Hand or Table Captain and Production Manager. Previous truss manufacturing experience is preferred, but no formal training is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Help set up truss jigs and move materials
- Assemble trusses according to engineering shop drawings
- Place connector plates correctly on both sides
- Check material quality, sizes, grades, and specifications
- Label trusses, follow safety rules, and clean work areas

Requirements:

- Ability to use and read a tape measure
- Ability to lift components weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to handle materials up to 16 feet long
- Ability to stand up to two and a half hours
- CSA approved safety shoes or boots before starting
