The Town of Auburn’s Department of Public Works seeks a Seasonal Parks & Cemetery Laborer. This seasonal position supports grounds upkeep across parks and cemetery areas. Duties include lawn mowing, trash removal, general maintenance, and landscaping assistance. The schedule runs 7:00AM to 3:00PM from May through June, then 6:30AM to 2:30PM from June through fall.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mow lawns and complete weed waking throughout assigned grounds
- Remove trash from parks and cemetery areas
- Perform general grounds maintenance duties
- Assist with landscaping tasks as assigned
- Complete other duties assigned by the DPW Superintendent

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old
