Help clients move toward employment through resume development and interview preparation with Fanshawe College’s Employment Services team in Simcoe.

As a part time Pre-Employment Specialist, you will support active clients individually and in small groups. Your work includes career planning, job applications, workshops, referrals, and regular client contact. You will contribute to an integrated team serving the Simcoe/Norfolk community through Employment Ontario services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support resume building, job searches,
  
  
  
  and job applications
• Prepare clients for interviews and planned employment activities
• Develop relevant workshop delivery schedules
• Refer clients to appropriate internal and external resources
• Enter data into internal and external systems

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Education
• Related post-secondary education may include Career Development
• At least two years’ recent relevant experience
• Experience in Career and Employment Services
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
