This full-time position suits an experienced hardwood flooring installer who manages projects from preparation through completion. You will install solid and engineered flooring, assess site conditions, coordinate activities, and maintain quality standards. Tantalus Floors serves homeowners, builders, developers, and commercial clients throughout Whistler, Squamish, and the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead hardwood installation and refinishing from preparation through completion
- Prepare subfloors and install solid or engineered flooring
- Sand, stain, refinish, recoat, and finish hardwood floors
- Coordinate materials, tools, progress,



and potential delays
- Inspect completed work and maintain safe, organized sites

Requirements:

- 5+ years of professional hardwood flooring installation experience
- Independent leadership of hardwood refinishing and troubleshooting projects
- Knowledge of hardwood and engineered wood flooring systems
- Ability to read plans and identify installation issues
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation, if required
