Operate concrete batch plant equipment while supporting safe production, mix quality, and material handling in an industrial workplace. This full-time role offers weekday hours with changing schedules as required.
The position supports batch plant operations and provides trained coverage for the Batch Operator when needed. Responsibilities include monitoring mixes, loading aggregates, inspecting equipment, and maintaining clean work areas. You will also communicate production concerns and coordinate assigned material ordering and receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor batching processes and concrete mix requirements
- Retrieve approved mix designs and batch concrete when qualified
- Load sand, stone, and aggregates into the plant
- Inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain plant equipment
- Report equipment, material, quality, and safety concerns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in concrete, construction, aggregates, or industrial environments
- Previous batch plant or related production equipment experience
- Front-end loader and ready-mix truck operating experience
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting experience
