Support Fairmont Palliser with HVAC knowledge and mechanical repairs as a part time Maintenance Person in Calgary. Weekend and overnight availability is required.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role maintains hotel systems and facilities to support excellent guest and colleague experiences. You will inspect, clean, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment. The work includes building automation monitoring, minor plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs, and preventive maintenance. Accurate records, safety compliance, and collaboration with other departments are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, clean, and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests




- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete necessary repairs
- Monitor building automation systems for performance and efficiency
- Maintain work orders, equipment inventories, and repair records

Requirements:

- Availability for weekends and overnight shifts
- Working knowledge of HVAC, A.H.U. systems, and chillers
- Knowledge of minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
