As the Western Distribution Centre (WDC) Supervisor, you will provide outstanding service to MEC internal and external partners by leading by example and providing a positive contribution to the DC.You’ll work with an inclusive, hands-on, collaborative group that connects people with quality products to encourage active outdoor lives. You’ll always be learning, and there’s a good chance your co-workers will inspire you to try something new, like riding in a Fondo, bouldering or paddle boarding.Please note that this position is 100% on-site.What You DoCross train in all DC functions to support the teamCreate DC staff workload based on expected SLAs and arrange staffing levels based on volume fluctuationsCommunicate effectively with both internal and external partnersPromote a safe, secure place to work, ensuring heath and safety policies are being followedPromote open communication,



teamwork and employee engagementEnsure best practices for efficiency and quality are being followed by staffLead and collaborate on continuous improvement projectsAttend and lead daily start up crew meetingsOpening and closing of the DC; ensure the building is secure at all timesAdditional administrative functions that may be requiredWhat You BringMinimum 1 year of experience working in a warehouse or distribution centreStrong leadership abilities – You’re generous with your knowledge and inspire your team members to growShift flexibility – must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekendsYou are mechanically orientedYou can handle numerous projects at the same time, while keeping coolSavviness with WMS systems, Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, Word and OutlookGreat communication skills – you listen first and then share knowledge. This goes for both speaking and writingYou always dot your i’s and cross your t’sYou’re stoked on something – you love to build trails, log miles or get outsideThe anticipated base salary range of this role is $56,000 to $69,000.
