Aluminum & Steel MIG Welder/Fitter

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fitter with strong aluminum welding experience . Youll work in a busy custom fabrication shop, building aluminum and steel components from blueprints and drawings.

What Youll Do

- MIG weld aluminum and steel , with a solid focus on aluminum
- Fit and assemble custom fabricated parts
- Read and work from blueprints and drawings
- Measure, mark, and lay out materials
- Use grinders, drills, and other power tools
- Operate plasma cutters, cutting torches, band saws, and shears
- Inspect your work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures

What Were Looking For

- 24+ years of MIG welding/fitting experience
- Minimum 2 years of aluminum welding experience
- Experience welding both aluminum and steel
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience in custom fabrication
- Comfortable using grinders, drills, and metal-cutting equipment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

- Experience welding or fabricating truck bodies
- Forklift experience
- Additional steel welding experience

Shifts

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 . 3:00 .

Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:45 . 1:15 .

Shift premium provided for afternoons.

Pay and Benefits





The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
