Job Description

As a Full-Time Temporary Parts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our facility. Involving assistance with parts-related tasks, your behind the scenes expertise is essential to foster the experience our customers have come to know and love about Western Tractor.

Responsibilities

- Assist technicians with parts inquiries, picking orders, customer loading, and some light deliveries.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandising displays. Promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns.
- Perform perpetual cycle counts for parts inventory. Order and receive parts from suppliers as required.
- Receiving and picking stock while maintaining organization of the warehouse.




- Ensure seamless communication and provide general administrative support to all departments within the dealership.
- Full-time seasonal from July to September with possibility of extension, may end sooner based on operational needs.
- 40 hours per week.
- Days of work will vary from Monday to Saturday of each week based on flexibility and operational needs.
- Required to work statutory holidays when scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

- 1-2 years of customer service experience and a farming background are assets.
- Computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite and windows-based applications
- Attention to detail, robust time management, ability to multitask, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player, with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- A valid driver’s licence is an asset but not required.
