Operate critical refinery equipment at Suncor’s Syncrude Mildred Lake site in Fort McMurray, using troubleshooting and operating practices. Work 12-hour shifts on a 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off schedule.

As a Process Operator, you will work with an experienced crew within the Primary Upgrader. You will monitor equipment, adjust process variables, and support secure, environmentally sound production. The position requires refinery experience, Power Engineering certification, and preventative maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate refinery equipment according to established operating practices
- Monitor equipment and process conditions for deviations
- Adjust variables to maintain safety and product quality




- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot process equipment
- Cover a qualified post within an operating unit

Requirements:

- Two years of refinery experience
- 4th Class Power Engineering certificate; 3rd or 2nd preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Submit Power Engineering operating tickets with your application
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights
