Lead asset management financial planning for the Town of Ajax through data-driven investment analysis and long-term funding strategy development. This temporary role offers hybrid work possibilities.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Financial Planning, the Senior Financial Analyst will oversee financial planning for the corporate Asset Management Plan. The work connects asset condition, risk, service levels, climate impacts, reserves, budgets, and long-range financial strategy. You will prepare updates for Council and the public while supporting sustainable funding decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop corporate Asset Management Program and Plan updates
- Prepare lifecycle, replacement, intervention, and reinvestment analyses
- Build defensible capital investment plans using financial data




- Maintain financial sustainability models and annual reporting
- Present asset management and financial planning reports

Requirements:

- CPA qualified accounting designation
- Four-year university degree in business or accounting
- Asset management designation or coursework considered an asset
- Municipal finance courses considered an asset
- Valid minimum G2 driver's licence and reliable vehicle
