This Electrician role supports manufacturing equipment through installation, troubleshooting, repair, and performance improvements. You will work from drawings, instructions, and sketches while addressing mechanical and electrical problems. The position also includes preventative maintenance, computerized maintenance management systems, and production equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex production equipment
- Program and repair PLC, HMI, and automation devices
- Recommend and implement equipment performance improvements
- Participate in preventative maintenance procedures
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Electrician license
- Manufacturing experience considered an asset
- Full complement of personal and skilled hand tools
- Basic computer ability and strong communication skills
- Safety consciousness with attention to detail
