emergiTEL seeks a Software Engineer for a permanent client role in digital identity, cybersecurity, and telecommunications. You will support fraud-prevention and identity-verification APIs throughout design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. The work includes object-oriented programming, automated testing, relational databases, and collaboration with QA, Operations, Release, DataOps, and Data Science teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable, highly available fraud-prevention and identity-verification APIs
- Write reusable, documented code using contemporary design patterns
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation




- Support deployments and troubleshoot production reliability issues
- Implement metrics, logs, tracing, and data pipelines

Requirements:

- Computer Science, Software Engineering degree, or equivalent experience
- Four-plus years developing with Java or Python
