Gates develops fluid power and power transmission solutions used across products including conveyor belts, cars, tractors, and bicycles. This Warehouse Associate position supports general warehouse duties through scanner-based receiving and picking, forklift or Powered Industrial Vehicle operation, and courier software packing. Associates are responsible for personal productivity, clean assigned areas, attendance, safety training, and reporting incidents or hazardous situations. Work also includes physical activities and some heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Vehicles
- Receive incoming shipments using computerized scanners
- Pick orders accurately against productivity standards
- Pack orders through designated courier software
- Report unsafe practices, injuries, incidents, and hazards
Requirements:
- Valid certification or license for Powered Industrial Vehicles
- Ability to maintain required weekly productivity
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Effective communication with coworkers and management
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift
