This full-time permanent position leads Manufacturing Engineering resources supporting Technical, COPQ, and Process Innovation initiatives. You will develop skills for direct supervision of assigned personnel or project-based cross-functional teams. The role connects engineering, production, quality, estimating, and tool design activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribute and manage departmental workload
- Establish priorities and resolve conflicts with functional leaders
- Initiate, review, and support process improvements
- Support manufacturing methods for current projects
- Support customer requirements from FAI through product release
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in a technical field
- Seven to ten years of manufacturing environment experience
- Working knowledge of internal MRB requirements
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Supervisor experience, CIM, or Belt certification considered an asset
