Worley seeks a Rigger for construction project support within its global energy, chemicals, and resources business. The work includes assembling rigging, selecting equipment by load weight and size, attaching loads, and directing crane operators. Candidates need industrial construction or maintenance experience and knowledge of complex rigging, lifting machinery, wire ropes, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves
- Attach rigging equipment to overhead structures and crane hooks
- Direct crane operators using signals, radios, or telephones




- Assemble and disassemble cranes and hoisting equipment
- Splice cables and perform minor equipment maintenance

Requirements:

- Minimum four years industrial construction or maintenance experience
- Knowledge of complex and heavy rigging practices
- Understanding of electrical, ladder, scaffold, and fire safety
- Knowledge of load charts, chokers, and wire ropes
- Basic blueprint reading and lifting machinery knowledge
