Machine aircraft landing gear components at Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel using lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis CNC centers. Work the night shift from Monday to Friday.
As a Machinist, you will manufacture major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 aircraft, plus the Boeing 787. The work requires CNC machine tool experience, technical document use, and precise inspection. You will also address machining issues and support continuous improvement in a up-to-date aerospace factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, prepare, and assemble parts before machining
- Perform machining operations according to machining ranges
- Inspect parts against specifications and address abnormalities
- Consult drawings, procedures,
and operation sheets electronically
- Maintain tools, fixtures, equipment, and quality documentation
Requirements:
- DEP in machining techniques
- Experience with CNC machine tools
- ASP in CNC machining is an asset
- Basic computer knowledge and analytical thinking
- Rigor, autonomy, initiative, and organizational skills
