Pack vinyl products for Westlake while applying product specifications, quality checks, and secure handling across 12 hour rotating continental shifts.
This Packer supports production efficiency by preparing cartons, identifying defective products, and sealing packaging for transportation. The work requires packaging knowledge, basic mathematics, communication, and equipment handling. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack vinyl products according to the specifications manual
- Recognize, remove, and report defective products or equipment
- Prepare, seal, staple, and transport cartons for shipment
- Maintain piece counts and stack completed cartons for crating
- Keep work areas clear and follow workplace safety procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to work 12 hour continental rotating shifts
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Comfort using air operated equipment and lifting production
