Python, C++, and automated testing meet AMD’s AI ecosystem in Markham, Ontario, through a full time onsite software test engineering internship.

This intern/co-op role supports multiple phases of the software test lifecycle. You will collaborate with development teams and Project Engineers to drive defects to closure. AMD will train you in functional, negative, regression, customer, performance, reliability, and usability testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop automated and manual test plans and test cases
- Prioritize concurrent projects and testing tasks efficiently
- Reproduce, troubleshoot, triage, and report software defects
- Build tests for dGPU, APU, and operating systems




- Identify measurements improving software quality assurance processes

Requirements:

- Enrollment in a Canadian university bachelor’s degree program
- Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related studies
- Programming or scripting knowledge in Python, VBA, C++, or Selenium
- Exposure to Linux or Windows development, triaging, or debugging
- Valid work authorization for Canada
