As Food Services Supervisor, you will oversee patient food services within an acute care environment. Your responsibilities include coordinating tray line and distribution activities, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with Compass' Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program. The position also requires attention to prescribed diets, clinical requirements, and dietary standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate tray line and meal distribution activities for patients
- Ensure compliance with infection control and food safety standards
- Assess operations and implement required nutrition care action plans
- Maintain client relationships through patient satisfaction rounding
- Manage materials and supply adequacy within approved budgets
Requirements:
- Food Handler Certificate or applicable provincial equivalent
- Current CSNM membership maintained in good standing
- One to two years supervising teams in healthcare environments
- Solid supervisory ability to motivate and lead staff
- Microsoft Office knowledge and excellent communication skills
