Lead agronomic training and AgZone FIELD adoption while supporting Co-op Ag teams across Alberta through a remote Technical Agronomist position.

Federated Co-operatives Limited seeks a permanent full time Technical Agronomist for its Ag Solutions team. You will strengthen product confidence, decision making, and agronomic services through virtual, in-person, print, and in-field training. The position also provides technical escalation support and field validation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Train local Co-op Ag teams across multiple delivery formats
- Enable consistent AgZone FIELD use in agronomic services
- Partner with commodity managers and Senior Retail Agronomists
- Provide technical escalation and agronomic business guidance
- Travel within the territory two to three days weekly

Requirements:

- Relevant progressively responsible experience of six to nine years
- Five years of field agronomy experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agriculture
- Master of Science degree preferred by FCL
- CCA or PAg designation is an asset
