This Safety Supervisor role supports vegetation management, forest management, reforestation, and work planning services. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will manage safety programs, develop initiatives, and help deliver safe work across operational settings. Your responsibilities include safety meetings, job observations, competency assurance, emergency preparedness, and client safety requirements. The position collaborates with General Forepersons, project managers, management, and employees. Regular travel throughout British Columbia, other Canadian provinces, and the corporate office in the United States may be required. Work also includes outdoor conditions, rough terrain, and prolonged computer use.

Key Responsibilities:





- Lead emergency preparedness, drills, exercises, and response
- Conduct competency assurance activities and job observations
- Facilitate meetings about incidents and safe procedures
- Complete client questionnaires and secure job planning
- Ensure employee safety orientations are completed

Requirements:

- Five years’ industrial or natural resources experience
- Experience managing and supporting safety programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of British Columbia occupational health regulations
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
