As a Welder/Fitter, you will fabricate or repair structural assemblies using blueprints, technical drawings, layouts, and work orders. The work includes FCAW, rigging, overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools. You will also document completed tasks, communicate production issues, and follow safety standards, regulations, codes, and Fero’s Code of Business Conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and repair structural assemblies according to blueprints
- Lay out reference points and symbols on structural steel
- Fit mating parts together accurately
- Operate welding equipment, cranes,



rigging, and hoists
- Grind, cut, prime, and document completed metalwork

Requirements:

- Background in structural fitting and welding
- Ability to interpret blueprints and metric and imperial measurements
- Ability to operate rigging harnesses and overhead cranes
- Current FCAW or CWB all-position ticket is an asset
- Ability to work overtime or weekends when required
