Drive inventory accuracy at S&S; Activewear through cycle counting, discrepancy research, and warehouse software use in a full time schedule.
The Inventory Control Associate maintains physical inventory order and accuracy across the Distribution Center. Daily work includes verifying bulk inventory, reconciling counts, processing mill returns, and preparing customer shipments. You will also operate barcode scanners, warehouse equipment, and software while meeting safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cycle counts and verify bulk inventory
- Research discrepancies and propose corrections after physical inspections
- Process return orders to mills and reconcile inventory
- Prepare, pack,
and accurately ship customer orders
- Report damaged, missing, broken, or unidentified packages
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and calculations
- Ability to use electronic devices and warehouse software
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
