Build budgeting and forecasting experience as an FP&A; Intern with Gestion Zagora in person at its Montréal or Toronto office. Analyze performance and strengthen financial reporting skills.
Gestion Zagora’s FP&A; team manages budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across residential property and portfolio investments. This co-op supports annual budgets, reforecasts, variance analysis, financial models, reporting templates, and management packages. Eight-month interns experience a full budget-to-actuals cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support annual budgets and periodic property-level reforecasts
- Prepare monthly actual-versus-budget variance analysis
- Explain key performance drivers and prior-year differences
- Build financial models and maintain reporting templates
- Automate recurring reports with Data Strategy & Innovation
Requirements:
- Enrollment in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related studies
- Understanding of income statements and balance sheets
- Exposure to SQL considered an asset
- Rigorous, organized approach and comfort with deadlines
- French considered an asset
Develop FP&A; capabilities through budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, modeling, and reporting for Gestion Zagora’s residential portfolio.
