Metrolinx seeks an in-office Project Coordinator for construction oversight and contractor coordination at the St. Clair Old Weston Extensions office. Support transit delivery projects.

Working under the Senior Manager, you will coordinate assigned projects through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The position emphasizes site works, contractor relationships, safety compliance, contract documents, approvals, and timely issue resolution. You will also support tendering and communicate project information to stakeholders and management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee site and construction works through office coordination and visits
- Coordinate construction meetings, site reviews, and safety compliance
- Submit tender specifications and support Procurement during tendering
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, inspectors,



and internal stakeholders
- Ensure completion and commissioning for user group handover

Requirements:

- Five years’ related transit facility planning, design, and construction experience
- College diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Experience interpreting contract plans and coordinating engineering projects
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and independent analytical abilities
- Valid Ontario G licence; site visits involve construction conditions and weather
