Cap West Group of Companies seeks a Health and Safety Advisor for an assigned construction project. This full-time role provides hands-on HSE support across participating Cap West divisions. You will work with Superintendents, Forepersons, workers, and the general contractor’s safety team. The position emphasizes inspections, hazard assessments, incident reporting, safety records, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide daily HSE support at the assigned construction project
- Conduct inspections and follow up on identified deficiencies
- Review FLHAs, toolbox talks, permits, and protected procedures




- Assist with incident investigations and corrective-action follow-up
- Maintain safety records in Autodesk, SharePoint, and company systems

Requirements:

- Current National Construction Safety Officer designation
- Current WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid certification or recognized equivalent
- Three to five years of construction safety experience
- Strong working knowledge of WorkSafeBC requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
