Central Alberta Co-op seeks a Produce Clerk with outstanding customer service and communication skills. You will guide customers, receive produce, and maintain fresh displays. The work includes FIFO rotation, fresh-cut preparation, food safety, and safe equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and guide customers to items
- Receive, inspect, stock, face, cull, and rotate produce
- Wash, cut, and package products for fresh-cut programs
- Maintain displays, temperature logs, dates,
and food safety compliance
- Monitor recalls and provide customers with current information
Requirements:
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Robust organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
