Apply server repair and hardware troubleshooting skills as an Amazon Data Center Technician supporting infrastructure issues. Work weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This three-month contract may extend or convert to full time. You will resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues, document supported technologies, and pass knowledge to junior staff. The position includes system administration, scripting, ticket resolution, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues
- Maintain documentation for supported technologies
- Pass technology knowledge to junior technicians
- Resolve assigned server repair and maintenance tickets
- Escalate support issues and execute local projects
Requirements:
- One-plus years repairing and maintaining servers
- One-plus years working with computer hardware
- Experience using a ticket-based system
- Basic to intermediate system administration skills
- Ability to complete government reliability security clearance
