you may expect to be involved in:Managing, coordinating and providing technical direction to geotechnical laboratory testing programsUndertaking all necessary initiatives to maintain lab certifications (CCIL, MTO) and ensure they remain in good standingCoordinating with authorities and preparing for new laboratory and technician certificationsOrganizing and managing equipment calibration documents as required by CCIL and MTOReviewing lab test procedures to ensure they are aligned with test standardsGenerating and reviewing lab test reports on a regular basisPlanning and establishing a lab internal audit procedure for equipment, test procedure, and personal performanceClient communication in regard to discussing issues involving samples, test procedures, or schedulesProviding training and support to lab technicians and new employeesEnsuring high quality of technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverablesFostering an atmosphere of continuous improvementProactively committing to creating a positive work environmentSupporting and/or developing Health & Safety programsCollaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projectsTravel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario,



as neededAny other functions assigned as part of your employmentTo apply to this position, you should expect to have:B.Eng., M.Eng., or diploma in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering4-10 years' experience in a Geotechnical Laboratory for soil and rockLicensed as a P.
