Support clean, secure resident spaces as a part time Housekeeping Aide at Extendicare, using disinfecting procedures and careful attention to privacy.

The Housekeeping Aide maintains resident areas, rooms, kitchens, closets, furnishings, fixtures, and floors. This work includes cleaning, sanitizing, waste removal, recycling, and occasional deep cleaning. You will follow infection prevention, quality assurance, fire, and safety policies while cooperating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, sanitize, and disinfect floors
- Clean resident areas, rooms, kitchens, closets, and furnishings
- Empty waste baskets, collect garbage, and remove recycling
- Perform snow removal, sanding, and salting as required




- Protect resident privacy during daily housekeeping duties

Requirements:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and move equipment
- Ability to work safely using established practices
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions
- Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
