Coordinate electrical design support for Ontario Line construction in Downtown Toronto, focusing on constructible installations, code compliance, and technical coordination.

Ontario Transit Group seeks an Electrical Design Coordinator to interface with design, construction, suppliers, and subcontractors. Reporting to the Electrical Design Manager, you will support procurement, shop drawing reviews, design changes, technical issues, and site assurance for major tunnel and station works.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare technical tender documentation with Procurement and design teams
- Assess supplier proposals, requests for information, and technical submissions
- Review shop drawings, construction procedures, and installation methods
- Coordinate design changes, field requests, and non-conformance resolution




- Compile as-built packages and final handover documentation

Requirements:

- Minimum three years designing building and civil infrastructure projects
- Experience producing plans and specifications for detailed design
- Sound knowledge of building design and design team collaboration
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM360
- Knowledge of transportation engineering software and practices
