Licensed Millwright with mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise supports Howmet Aerospace production equipment on the afternoon shift. Work takes place at the Georgetown site.
This recent full-time position provides comprehensive maintenance support for production equipment and facility areas. The millwright conducts preventive and unscheduled maintenance, supports projects, and helps keep Howmet Aerospace equipment compliant. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and related equipment
- Start machines, detect malfunctions, report findings, and correct deficiencies
- Support new projects and improve existing equipment
- Maintain mechanical and electrical systems throughout plant and office areas
- Communicate repairs and improvement ideas to interested parties
Requirements:
- Licensed Millwright qualification
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance capabilities
- Ability to follow Howmet EHS standards and procedures
- Ability to support equipment validation and verification
- Ability to perform afternoon shift work
