The Universal Group is seeking a Traffic Control Person for its traffic control team. You will set up traffic control zones, adjust work zone equipment, and respond to emergencies and hazards. The work requires communication, de-escalation, documentation, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up traffic control zones and adjust work zone equipment
- Give motorists clear and precise traffic control directions
- Conduct traffic control within provided training and abilities
- Attend required health and safety toolbox meetings
- Report hazards, conflicts,



and noncompliance issues to management

Requirements:

- Valid BC Traffic Control Person certification from a regulatory body
- Effective communication and public de-escalation skills
- Compliance with quality, safety, and responsiveness standards
- Availability for three consistent weekdays minimum
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather elements
