As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will develop physical designs for next-generation optical networking technologies. The work addresses density, thermal, and manufacturability requirements. You will create parts, assemblies, documentation, and design databases while collaborating across engineering, hardware, operations, customer response, and supplier teams.
Key Responsibilities: Develop mechanical designs for high-density optical platforms
Create parts, assemblies, documentation, and design databases
Present technical reviews covering requirements, timelines, architecture, and risks




Apply DFMA methods for volume manufacturability processes
Evaluate samples, build prototypes, and create FPE reports
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years’ mechanical design experience in telecom, datacom, or electro-optics
CAD experience, including Creo Parametric
Experience designing metal and injection-molded plastic components
Cross-functional communication and analytical problem-solving skills
