The Near North District School Board seeks a temporary itinerant Educational Assistant reporting to the Principal of Special Education. Support students with wide-ranging exceptionalities, including autism, medically complex needs, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. Work with teachers, behavioural specialists,



and therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to high-needs students across West Region schools
• Support students moving into the region mid-year
• Assist transitions between programs or educational settings
• Implement programming with classroom teachers and support teams
• Collaborate with speech, sensory, occupational, and physiotherapy therapists

Requirements:

• Two-year post-secondary social services certificate or diploma
• Experience supporting varied student exceptionalities
• Knowledge of ABA, Behaviour Management Systems, and CPS
• Knowledge of augmentative communication support strategies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
