Shipping documentation and logistics coordination define this Shipper role with Leggett & Platt Inc., Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Manage shipments accurately.

As part of Northfield Metal Products, you will supervise daily shipping and distribution operations supporting the Work Furniture business. Your work includes shipping documents, shipment bookings, package movement, driver check-ins, and delivery coordination. You will collaborate with customers, carriers, warehouses, material handlers, supervisors, production management, customer service, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create advanced shipping notices, packing slips, BOLs, and commercial invoices
- Book LCL, FCL, LTL, and FTL shipments, including customs
- Coordinate packages from preparation through final shipment




- Review weekly schedules to support on-time delivery
- Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and ISO9001 procedures

Requirements:

- Three to five years of shipping and logistics experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; related post-secondary education
- Proficiency with shipping procedures and basic mathematics
- Solid organization, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Forklift license required; training available with prior experience
