Support residents as a Health Care Aide with Bethany Care Society in Sylvan Lake, working permanent part time night shifts.

This Health Care Aide provides resident-centered support within the designated scope of practice. You will assist with daily living, promote choices, protect dignity, and facilitate independence. The position serves Long Term Care Dementia 2nd Floor while supporting families, volunteers, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Follow resident care plans, policies, and procedures
- Document observations and report care to nurses
- Maintain privacy, dignity, and resident independence
- Support safety and interdisciplinary care planning

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education and approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
- Effective English speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in demanding environments
