Provide person-centered resident support as a Health Care Aide at Vita & District Health Centre, working in person across days, nights, and weekends.

Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a permanent Health Care Aide for its Personal Care Home in Vita. Under nursing team leadership, you will assist residents with Activities of Daily Living identified in care plans. The position requires full-scope practice, competency maintenance, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support residents with identified Activities of Daily Living
- Follow care plans and established standards of practice
- Work under Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse leadership
- Determine work priorities and methods independently
- Maintain competency through education and certifications

Requirements:

- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
- One to two years’ health care experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and organize assigned workload
