Provide resident care as a Health Care Aide at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary, working regular full-time evenings with the care team.

Under a Licensed Practical Nurse’s supervision, you will deliver protected basic care and services. Your work includes personal care, transfers, feeding, treatments, and resident mobility. You will support residents according to care plans and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bath, shower, and wash residents using required procedures
- Assist transfers with lifts, transfer belts, and protective controls
- Feed residents according to care plans and diets
- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Accompany residents to meals, therapy, and activities

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
- Active CLHA registration
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year of continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education is an asset
