Work Schaeffler Aerospace Canada’s weekend shift in Stratford, operating production machinery and checking quality with precision measuring equipment. Full time hours are scheduled across weekends.
This Drilling Machine Operator position supports Segment 2 aerospace manufacturing at Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. You will operate at least one production process, maintain quality and quantity standards, and complete required production records. The work also includes basic machine checks, print interpretation, housekeeping, and operator training when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production processes using CNC or manual equipment
- Check machines and take timely corrective action
- Verify quality through precision work inspection
- Read production prints and access computer procedures
- Train other operators and support machine setup
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma required
- Machining background or mechanical aptitude
- Ability to maintain Certified Operator Program certification
- Ability to meet applicable training matrix requirements
- Canadian Controlled Goods and ITAR compliance required
