This Senior Underwriter, Commercial Lines, Mid Market role evaluates high premium volume business under company guidelines. You will collaborate with sales, policyholders, and internal stakeholders across Canada. The work includes quoting, negotiating, authorizing risk, and supporting renewals. You will also provide expertise on policies, processes, regulations, and audit while mentoring less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform risk analysis using technology and external data sources
- Quote, negotiate, and authorize acceptance of commercial risks
- Determine policy renewal eligibility using company guidelines
- Maintain accurate decisions and complete policy data

Requirements:
- Five years of Property and Casualty industry experience
- Post-secondary education or related business experience
- Completed or pursuing a Property and Casualty designation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
