Operate SAG and ball mills at McIlvenna Bay as a full time Grinding Area Operator on Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan’s 14/14 rotation.
This Mill Operator 3 role supports the Mill Processing Plant Team at a copper, zinc, gold, and silver project. You will monitor grinding performance, adjust feed rates, maintain equipment, support sampling, and record process data. Technical or vocational mineral-processing training is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate SAG mills, ball mills, hydrocyclones, and vibrating screens
- Adjust feed rates and settings for target particle size
- Support Met Lab sampling and quality checks
- Perform lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements
- Report issues and maintain accurate process logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1.5 years as a Mill Operator
- At least six months as a Grinding Area Operator
- Knowledge of grinding principles and mineral processing
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying conditions
