Prodomax seeks Mechanical Designers for custom automation solutions within the Jenoptik Group. You will report to the Mechanical Design Manager and receive project direction from a Design Lead. Responsibilities vary by your skills and experience, from entry-level design support through senior design analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical design support to Production and Engineering Teams
- Design jigs and fixtures using SolidWorks
- Prepare manufacturing drawings and bills of materials
- Specify purchased components for mechanical assemblies
- Analyze designs for customer specification compliance
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or engineering technologist or technician credential
- Entry-level, three to five, or five to eight years’ experience
- Experience with automated welding and assembly equipment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
