ParaMed is seeking a full time Physiotherapy Assistant working under a Physiotherapist’s direction and supervision. You will assist clients in retirement or residential settings through exercise programs, gait training, balance exercises, transfers, and prescribed modalities. Clear communication and documentation support coordinated client care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare required equipment and clean it after client use
- Carry out prescribed exercise and gait training programs
- Assist with balance, transfers, range of motion, and strengthening
- Apply prescribed heat, ice, ultrasound,



or TENS modalities
- Document client activities, progress, and treatment plans

Requirements:

- Graduate of a recognized post-secondary PTA/OTA program
- One to two years of preferred PTA experience with elderly populations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Current clear Vulnerable Position Screening
- Current Canadian CPR and First Aid within one year
