Vanderwell seeks a Journeyperson Millwright for its manufacturing facilities in northern Alberta. The work includes saw changes, equipment lubrication, trim saw calibration, and responding to operator reports. Candidates need a valid Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic certification, three to five years of industrial experience, and comfort working at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change saws and knives across mill equipment
- Lubricate mill floor equipment regularly
- Replace tool tips on de-barkers
- Calibrate trim saws and inspect alignment
- Identify equipment problems and complete required repairs
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic certification
- Three to five years of industrial experience
- Sawmill experience preferred
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work comfortably at different heights
