Operate municipal water treatment systems using process monitoring and mechanical maintenance skills. This position supports water plants, booster stations, and pumping stations.

The Water Treatment Plant Operator II reports to the Manager or Overall Responsible Operator. You will operate treatment processes, inspect equipment, complete sampling, and maintain associated facilities. The work includes water treatment operations, laboratory testing, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, operate, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems
- Record flows, chemical feeds, power usage, and residuals
- Adjust operations using collected process data
- Complete provincial-standard sampling and laboratory tests




- Perform preventative maintenance and report repair requirements

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class II water treatment certification
- At least three years municipal water treatment experience
- Laboratory, instrumentation, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Class G licence and transparent driver's abstract
