Build high-performance scientific visualizations with React and TypeScript on GeoSoftware’s distributed Digital Platform team. Work remotely across time zones with experienced engineers.
As a senior front-end engineer, you will create the interactive visualization layer for next-generation geoscience software. Your work combines WebGL rendering, reactive state architecture, and large-dataset streaming. You will collaborate with computational, platform, and geoscience experts to make complex numerical results legible and interactive for professional interpreters.
Key Responsibilities: Build hardware-accelerated views over datasets larger than memory
Implement interactive two-dimensional and three-dimensional scientific visualizations
Profile rendering performance and optimize using measured results
Design state, event, dependency,
and invalidation architectures
Coordinate linked selections, highlighting, cursors, and multi-view layouts
Requirements: Minimum five years of skilled software engineering experience
Production experience with React and TypeScript
Hands-on WebGL or equivalent GPU-accelerated browser rendering
Experience designing event-driven or reactive application architecture
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical technical experience
Apply front-end engineering, WebGL, and scientific visualization expertise to GeoSoftware’s large-scale Digital Platform applications.
